About Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a cryptocurrency that emerged as a hard fork of Bitcoin on August 1, 2017. It was created to address Bitcoin's scalability limitations by increasing the block size from 1MB to 8MB, allowing faster and cheaper transactions. Unlike Bitcoin, BCH rejects Segregated Witness and favors hard forks as its primary upgrade mechanism, aiming to preserve the original peer-to-peer electronic cash vision. In November 2018, a hashwar split BCH into Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV. BCH remains one of the most recognized Bitcoin forks with broad exchange support.
