About Klaytn

Klaytn (KLAY) is a public blockchain platform launched in June 2019, designed to support the metaverse, GameFi, and the creator economy. Originally developed by Kakao, South Korea's largest tech conglomerate, it became the dominant blockchain network in the country. Klaytn combines the transparency of public blockchains with the stability of enterprise-grade infrastructure, offering fast finality and low transaction fees. Governed by the Singapore-based Klaytn Foundation, the network is expanding globally, supported by a US$500 million growth fund aimed at accelerating ecosystem development and onboarding new projects and developers worldwide.
