About Map Protocol

MAP Protocol (MAPO) is a decentralized cross-chain interoperability protocol built around a dedicated blockchain designed to secure cross-chain asset transfers and communication. Unlike bridge solutions that rely on third-party validators, MAP Protocol uses a light client and zero-knowledge proof verification mechanism to enable trustless cross-chain interactions. Launched in 2019, it supports connections across heterogeneous blockchains including EVM and non-EVM networks. The protocol provides infrastructure for decentralized applications seeking seamless multi-chain functionality, positioning itself as a foundational layer for cross-chain DeFi and Web3 development.
