Nillion (NIL) is a decentralized privacy-focused computation and storage network built around blind computing technology. It uses Privacy-Enhancing Technologies, including secure multi-party computation and trusted execution environments, to process and store data while keeping it fully encrypted. This enables private AI inference, encrypted databases, and privacy-preserving applications without exposing underlying data. Co-developed with Meta, its AI Virtual Machine supports secure inference at scale. NIL serves as the native utility token, used for network fees, staking, and governance, powering a modular ecosystem designed to bring practical data privacy to Web3 developers and enterprises.
