OMG Network (OMG) is a layer-2 scaling solution built on Ethereum, designed to enable faster and cheaper value transfers for ETH and ERC20 tokens. Originally developed by OmiseGO, it uses a construction called a More Viable Plasma chain to process transactions off the main Ethereum network, reducing congestion and fees while inheriting Ethereum's security guarantees.
