About Quai Network

Quai Network (QUAI) is a merge-mined network of blockchains designed to scale without sacrificing decentralization. It uses a novel Proof-of-Entropy-Minima (PoEM) consensus mechanism to coordinate an ever-expanding set of execution shards, eliminating consensus-based contention and enabling throughput exceeding 50,000 transactions per second. Blocks are produced roughly every 1.1 seconds within a composable, multithreaded execution environment. QUAI is mineable, connecting it to real-world energy expenditure in the tradition of proof-of-work systems while supporting a flexible, horizontally scalable architecture suited for high-demand decentralized applications.
