About Quarkchain

QuarkChain (QKC) is a decentralized, permissionless blockchain network designed to address the scalability limitations facing major blockchain platforms. It uses a two-layered architecture combining elastic sharding blockchains as the first layer with a root blockchain that confirms shard blocks, enabling a theoretical throughput of over one million transactions per second. Security is maintained by allocating at least 50 percent of hash power to the root chain. QuarkChain supports anti-centralization through clusters of affordable nodes, efficient cross-shard transactions, and a single unified account system across all shards for simplified user experience.
