About Reserve Rights

Reserve Rights (RSR) is an ERC-20 token powering the Reserve Protocol, a decentralized platform for creating and managing asset-backed stablecoins called RTokens. What sets RSR apart is its dual role as both a governance token and a staking mechanism that provides overcollateralization for RTokens. Holders can stake RSR as first-loss capital to backstop stablecoin collateral defaults, earning a share of RToken revenue in return. They can also propose and vote on changes to RToken configurations. Built on Ethereum and launched in 2019, Reserve Rights sits at the center of a scalable, community-governed stablecoin ecosystem.
