Rook (ROOK) is a decentralized open settlement protocol built on the Ethereum blockchain. It is designed to capture and redistribute Miner Extractable Value, commonly known as MEV, rather than allowing it to be lost or exploited by third parties. Rook achieves this by coordinating algorithmic strategists called Keepers, who compete to execute transactions in ways that maximize value for traders, protocols, and market makers. The ROOK token plays a central role in governing the protocol and aligning incentives across participants within its broader DeFi ecosystem.
