The Graph (GRT) is a decentralized indexing protocol designed to organize and query blockchain data using GraphQL. It functions as a global API layer for Web3, allowing developers to access on-chain data without relying on centralized servers. What sets it apart is its network of participants: Indexers stake GRT to process queries, Delegators secure the network by backing Indexers, and Curators signal valuable data sources called subgraphs. GRT is the native ERC-20 token coordinating these roles. The Graph plays a foundational role in powering decentralized applications across DeFi and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
