About Eclipse

Eclipse (ES) is a layer 2 blockchain built on Ethereum that uses the Solana Virtual Machine as its execution environment. By combining Ethereum's liquidity and user base with the high-performance SVM runtime, Eclipse delivers fast transaction throughput and low fees without sacrificing access to Ethereum's ecosystem. The network settles transactions on Ethereum while using Celestia for data availability and RISC Zero for proof generation. Eclipse is also developing the Giga Scale Virtual Machine, a co-designed hardware and software client aimed at pushing blockchain compute capacity to new limits.
