About Fasttoken

Fasttoken (FTN) is the native cryptocurrency of Bahamut, a public layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain developed by SoftConstruct and the Fastex ecosystem. What sets Bahamut apart is its Proof of Stake and Activity consensus mechanism, where validator rewards are influenced not only by staked tokens but also by the gas activity generated through their deployed smart contracts. This design incentivizes validators to build useful applications that attract real users. FTN also functions as a gaming token across various platforms and originally launched as an ERC20 token before migrating to the Bahamut mainnet in 2023.
