Zclassic (ZCL) is a cryptocurrency and direct fork of Zcash, created by Rhett Creighton. What sets it apart is the removal of Zcash's 20% Founders' Reward, meaning miners receive their full block rewards without redirecting a portion to a central organization. It also eliminates the slow start mechanism, allowing normal mining from launch. Zclassic uses the same zk-SNARKs privacy technology as Zcash, supporting both transparent and shielded transactions. The project is community-driven, with no pre-mine or special allocations, positioning itself as a fairer alternative within the privacy-focused cryptocurrency space.
